Jay Springer

Hearing Instrument Specialist / Owner

Jay is our Michigan licensed hearing instrument specialist. This title required the completion of studies with the Hearing Aid Academy, a rigorous training process, and the successful completion of state examinations.
Jay is a lifelong resident of Rochester Hills. His parents moved to Rochester Hills in the 1970s to raise their family, where his father built them a home that they still live in today. In 2023, Jay retired from his 23-year career as a Union Teamster Steelworker in Detroit. While missing his fellow teamsters, it is his mission to help our patients hear better with the latest technology. He enjoys bringing his blue-collar work ethic to serving his community. He is honored to serve as an ambassador with the Rochester regional Chamber of Commerce. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, traveling, attending Broadway shows, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

In her time at Grand Valley, Megan worked for the university as a tour guide and tutor. She is passionate about connecting with new people and helping others where she can. She aspires to work with people with hearing loss and hearing disorders in the future. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, drawing, and trying new restaurants around town.

Mattia

Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee

Mattia recently joined our team and is training to become a Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist. Mattia graduated from Oakland University in April of 2024 with a major in Linguistics and a minor in Speech Language Pathology. While at Oakland University, Mattia worked as a Library Circulation Assistant and as a Behavior Technician. Mattia hopes that as she enters into the Hearing world with us, she can become even more knowledgeable about language and communication. Mattia has always had a deep passion for helping others and tries to be involved with her community outside of the workplace as well.
Each year Mattia volunteers her time with her local Fire Department to help serve families in need on Christmas Eve. She has been assisting with this event for over 10 years and enjoys that it is such a rewarding experience. In her free time, Mattia enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with animals, and being around her family and friends.
